VeWorld, VeChain wallet
VeWorld is the VeChain wallet for your browser: a Chrome extension to manage your crypto assets and access the decentralised applications (dApps) of the VeChain network. I built the extension's React frontend with an international team, with great care for the interface and the user experience.
What VeWorld is
VeWorld is a wallet for the VeChain network that lives in your browser, as a Chrome extension. It keeps and manages your crypto assets and gives you access to the network's decentralised applications (dApps) straight from the pages you are visiting.
What it lets you do
- Create or import a wallet on VeChainThor, starting from scratch in a few steps.
- Manage your assets from a single interface.
- Import local wallets or hardware wallets.
- Interact with dApps from a panel designed to stay within reach while you browse.
My work
The React frontend
I built the React frontend of the Chrome extension: the screens where users create and import wallets, check their assets and approve operations.
An international team
The project was delivered together with an international team: developers in different time zones, with code reviews, a shared component language and a common way of working.
UI and UX
In a wallet every screen deals with people's money: the clarity of the interface matters as much as the correctness of the code. That is why I paid particular attention to UI and UX, so that even the most delicate steps are easy to understand.
