What Fix and Sail is

Fix and Sail is a web platform that helps boat owners manage their boat without stress. Its starting point is the vessel's digital twin: you set up the model and accessories once, and everything else (maintenance, documents, alerts) is tied to your real boat.

How it works

• You set up your boat: model and accessories, to create the digital twin.
• You ask the Captain: an AI assistant that does not answer generically but draws on the manuals of the accessories installed on board, with precise instructions for that boat.
• You sail with peace of mind: tailored checklists, maintenance reminders and the whole history of the boat always at hand.

• My Boat: the boat, accessories and documents, with maintenance tracking and smart alerts on deadlines.
• Explore: pages on boats and accessories, from the history of the main shipyards to technical sheets of the most common accessories.
• Real experts: when the AI is not enough, the service puts you in touch with real people.

My work

The Nuxt programming

I took care of the Nuxt programming side of this boat management system: the web application where users set up their vessel, browse its history and manage checklists and deadlines.

A management system made for people who go to sea

As with Altura Vela, where I built a management system for boats, skippers and members, the theme is the same: custom tools that take repetitive work away and keep everything a sailor needs in order.
